It is my distinct pleasure in welcoming you to the Greece Police Department website. The Town of Greece is one of the largest towns in New York State encompassing more than 42 square miles and 7 geographic sectors for police service (GPD Sector Map). Ouragency is a New York State Accredited Police Department comprised of 100 sworn officers. We are also well supported by a dynamic team of nearly 20 civilian staff members.  The sworn men and women of Greece PD are highly trained law enforcement professionals who are deeply committed to serving the residents of the Town of Greece. In cooperation and with full support from Town leadership, our mission is to protect, lead, and empower all citizens of Greece in every aspect of policing.  As Chief of Police, and as a law enforcement professional for more than 20 years, my commitment to our community is to Protect with fairness and respect, Lead by example and with integrity and Empower through transparency and important dialogue.  I have an “open door” policy here at the police department amongst our staff and I’d like to extend this same spirit of communication to all town residents.
